Why Am I Running?

September 30, 2025

For me, this decision is both personal and professional.

I’ve lived in Glen Rock for more than 15 years. Like every parent, I want them—and all students in our community—to have the best possible education, one that prepares them not just for today, but for the future they will inherit.

Bringing My Experience to Public Service

Professionally, I’ve spent my career at leading technology companies like Meta, Amazon, and Uber. In those environments, I learned how to solve complex problems, use data to guide decisions, and build systems that can adapt to constant change. These lessons are directly relevant to education, where our district faces both challenges and opportunities.

I believe my skills in innovation, collaboration, and accountability can help our schools continue to grow and succeed. Serving on the Board of Education is one way I can give back to the community that has given so much to my family.

Preparing Students for the Digital Future

I am especially passionate about ensuring our students are ready for a rapidly changing world. Artificial intelligence, coding, and digital ethics aren’t distant ideas—they’re already shaping our children’s lives. Our schools should help students become not only consumers of technology, but also creators, innovators, and leaders in the digital age.

That means expanding STEM and AI literacy, supporting teachers with professional development, and making sure every student has access to the tools and opportunities that will prepare them for tomorrow.

An Inclusive, Innovative, and Excellent Education

At the heart of my decision to run is a simple belief: every student deserves an education that challenges them, supports them, and opens doors to opportunity.

I want to help ensure Glen Rock schools remain inclusive, innovative, and excellent. Together, we can create a learning environment that prepares all of our students, whatever their path may be, to thrive.
