About Me
As a proud Glen Rock resident for over 15 years and a parent of two children in the district, I am deeply committed to ensuring our schools continue to provide an exceptional education for every student.
With a long career in software engineering at leading technology companies including Meta, Amazon, and Uber, I bring a wealth of experience in innovation and problem-solving to our school district. My time at these industry leaders has honed my ability to drive results through data-driven decision making and collaborative leadership - skills that are directly transferable to educational administration.
Currently, as a lecturer at Rutgers University, I teach graduate-level Computer Science courses, equipping the next generation of technologists with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. My six years of coaching for the Glen Rock Soccer Club has further reinforced the importance of teamwork, discipline, and community engagement - values that are fundamental to both sports and education.
My Vision
To create an inclusive, innovative, and excellent educational environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.
My Priorities
Future-Ready Education
Introduce age-appropriate AI literacy, coding, and digital ethics in curricula to prepare students for the jobs and challenges of tomorrow.
Academic Excellence
Implement evidence-based teaching methods and leverage technology to identify individual strengths and tailor education to meet diverse learning needs.
Support for Educators
Invest in professional development, resources, and support systems to empower our teachers and staff who are the foundation of our children's education.
AI & LLM Literacy
Empowering Students for the Future of Technology
Vision for AI in Education
I believe in preparing our students for a future where AI and large language models will be integral to every industry. My goal is to ensure Glen Rock students are not just consumers of technology, but creators and ethical stewards of these powerful tools.
- Age-appropriate AI literacy curriculum
- Ethical AI usage and digital citizenship
- Teacher training on AI tools and resources
Why It Matters
In an increasingly digital world, understanding AI and LLMs is no longer optional. These technologies are transforming how we work, communicate, and solve problems. By integrating AI education into our curriculum, we prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow while teaching them to use these tools responsibly and effectively.
"The best way to predict the future is to create it."
